Chicks n Chaps® Mission, Vision & Values
Helping women, men and the families who are affected by breast cancer.
Founded by a small group of Montanans whose lives had been profoundly impacted by breast cancer, and who were all passionate about the sport of Rodeo and its heritage, Chicks n Chaps® has forged its mission from their experiences and passion.
Our Mission:
Chicks n Chaps is dedicated to helping communities raise money for local individuals and families impacted by breast cancer while promoting the sport of rodeo and the western lifestyle.
Our Vision:
Leveraging regional and national recognition and our passion and knowledge of local, regional and professional rodeo, we will develop and promote fundraising events with a singular focus of generating direct contributions to local communities and related Breast Cancer charities.
Our trademark event will be the Chicks n Chaps® Women's Rodeo Clinic which began in the State of Montana and will grow across North America.
Our Values:
- We are founded and run by an all-volunteer board
- We will strive to promote the traditional Western values of community, family and friendships in every Chicks n Chaps Event.
- We will operate with minimal administrative overhead and our profits will be given to individuals and Breast Cancer related charities that provide direct and immediate benefit to the communities we serve.
- We will raise money to give financial assistance to women and men who are affected by breast cancer for expenses not covered by insurance or other financial sources.
- We will hold rodeo clinics and other fundraising events to raise money that will be donated to individuals impacted by breast cancer or to other breast cancer charitable organizations in the area that the clinic is held. All money raised in a community stays in that community!
